This course also includes work experience in a general practice/hospital/health centre or in a general administration role.
Intermediate 1 Administration (Grade A or B), Standard Grade Administration (General/Credit) or equivalent, or relevant work experience. Applicants should be able to demonstrate communication, ICT and numeracy essential skills at Intermediate 1 Level. It is expected that applicants will be able to work to a Standard Grade General/Credit Level of study. A place on the course is subject to interview.
1 year full-time.
HNC Administration and IT (SCQF Level 7), HNC Care and Administrative Practice (SCQF Level 7) or equivalent level course. Career prospects: Medical Receptionist, Trainee Medical Secretary or Clerical/Administration Assistant within a health related industry, Administrative Support Assistant, General Receptionist or Customer Service Advisor.
