Learning and Development - SVQ Level 4

Content
In order to achieve this qualification, the candidate will be assessed in their workplace by a qualified and competent assessor. The assessor will support the candidate to generate a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates their knowledge and practical skills. A range of methods will be used such as observation, written reflective accounts and questions.

To achieve SVQ Level 4 the candidate must complete eight mandatory units and four optional units. Units include: evaluate and develop your own practice, design learning programmes, manage the contribution of other people to the learning process, identify the learning and development needs of the organisation, enable group learning and monitor and review progress with learners.

Entry Requirements
The candidate must currently be in a training role planning, developing and delivering training. At Level 4 the candidate will be expected to have considerable autonomy and line management responsibility.

Benefits
On completion the candidate will be awarded the Scottish Vocational Qualification in Learning and Development Level 4.
