Vehicle Parts Operations - SVQ Level 3

Content
The qualification comprises of 12 mandatory and four optional individual assessment units such as:

• Receive and Store Motor Vehicle Parts
• Maximise Product Sales within a Vehicle Part Operation
• Participate in Motor Vehicle Parts Stocktaking Activities
• Communicate Information Electronically within a Vehicle Parts Environment.

These are agreed at the outset with the candidate and their employer, depending on the route chosen. The candidate is required to produce a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate their knowledge and practical skills in the job. The candidate will receive help and support on how to develop this from the assessor.

Entry Requirements
In order to achieve this qualification, the candidate must be employed within a motor vehicle parts department, have their employer's support to do it, have already gained the practical skills and knowledge or be receiving training on the job. The candidate should have responsibility in the decision making process in the department and will be able to demonstrate good practical skills and knowledge of the job.
