ENGLISH FOR SPEAKERS OF OTHER LANGUAGES (ESOL)
Kilmarnock College specialise in offering the course English for Speakers of Other Languages. This course is offered part time during the day and also as an evening class programme.This course is delivered by the following methods - Part time / day, twilight or evening.
The course is taught at the main campus in Holehouse Road, Kilmarnock.
Award: University of Cambridge/ Citizenship / Scottish Qualification Certificate.
There are no formal entry requirements
Assessment will be carried out to determine appropriate entry level. Courses are designed to prepare students for the Cambridge Examinations or to complete SQA ESOL
units and cultural awareness material which will satisfy requirements for citizenship. Both aim to develop a comprehensive use of English.
Progression options are: SQA Units, Citizenship or Cambridge Certificates.
Career prospects are: Improved employability.
