Background
I started the full-time NQ Motor Vehicle course in August 2008. I worked hard at my studies and I was successful in the units that I undertook. I was placed with Kerr and Smith during the work experience element of the course, and they offered me an apprenticeship. I started my training in August 2009 on a day release Modern Apprenticeship course.

"I was able to make such a good impression on the staff and managers on my work experience, that it resulted in an offer of an apprenticeship".
