Achievement
After completing the course Thomas gained employment at Sunnyside Children's House which involves putting together plans that are in the best interests of young people in meeting their needs. Thomas plans to carry on in his current post and continue to enhance his knowledge to be better equipped to help young people. The course has already given him a sense of achievement and the knowledge to continue in his role.

Background
Prior to coming to the College Thomas had been a foster carer and a Residential carer. As a requirement by the SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council) and to continue in this line of work Thomas was encouraged to go to college.
