Using a computer is now an essential skill - at home, work and at College or University. It can help you access information easily and can help you communicate more effectively with others.

The European Computer Driving Licence is a worldwide recognised qualification that shows competence in the use of IT Applications.

The course is divided into 7 modules:-

Module 1 - Security for IT Users
Module 2 - IT User Fundamentals for Windows 7
Module 3 - Word Processing using 2010
Module 4 - Spreadsheets using Excel 2010
Module 5 - Databases using Access 2010
Module 6 - Presentations using Powerpoint 2010
Module 7 - Web Browsing using Internet Explorer 9 and Communication using Outlook 2010

There is a test to complete at the end of each module and a pass in all seven modules is required to gain the European Computer Driving Licence qualification.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements however a basic knowledge if IT skills is required. An interview with the ECDL administrator is required prior to enrolment to discuss the course content.

Evening Class - 17 weeks (3hrs a week)
Open Learning - 1 year
