17th Edition of Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) Wiring Regulations (CandG2382/10)

Content
This course will enable the candidate to be conversant with the format, content and application of the requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2008 (17th edition). Content includes: regulative requirements, scope and object of the regulations, fundamental requirements for safety, correct methods of selection and erection requirements for special locations, how inspection and testing should be carried out and how to use the regulations in the design, construction and maintenance of installations.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal qualifications required to undertake this course although the course is primarily aimed at practicing electricians with relevant experience and other allied professionals needing to update and enhance their understanding of IEE Wiring Regulations.

Benefits
The candidate will be able to apply the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations in a safe and competent manner. This will allow 17th Edition endorsement to be listed on SJIB and JIB cards.
