Content
This course covers the practical skills needed by a first aider in the modern workplace and will provide the successful candidate with a HSE Approved First Aid Certificate enabling them to carry out the role of nominated First Aider in their place of employment. Topics include: principles of first aid, accident and illness, treatment of an unconscious casualty, resuscitation, shock, strokes, burns, fractures, wounds and bleeding.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. No prior experience is required and the course is available to all members of the public.
Benefits
On completion of this course, the candidate will achieve a recognised First Aid Qualification, which enables them to handle most emergency situations. This qualification is valid for three years. The course will also give the candidate the knowledge and confidence to deal with first aid emergencies.
