Kilmarnock College Vacancies

Jane newWelcome to the Kilmarnock College Vacancies page. We are delighted that you have taken the time to visit our site, and hope that you will consider progressing your career with us.

I am pleased to introduce Kilmarnock College to you as a vibrant and dynamic community college, dedicated to delivering high quality and innovative learning and teaching experiences.

The College has recently received the prestigious Investors in People Gold Accreditation, which reflects the incredible hard work which is undertaken by staff here at the College and our commitment to continuous improvement. We have a highly committed staff team working together and inspiring achievement through the provision of learning opportunities for individuals and organisations.

As part of our commitment to implementing the Government's strategy for Post-16 Education, 'Putting Learners at the Centre', we are currently working with our colleagues at Ayr College and James Watt College (North Ayrshire Campus) to create a new regional college for Ayrshire, building on the partnership work already undertaken by the region to support and promote the economic, social, and community development needs of Ayrshire. Our targeted vesting date for the new Ayrshire College is 1st August 2013.

We are also working to support the procurement process for the construction of a new £50m College campus in Kilmarnock. The campus will be located on Hill Street and will be the cornerstone of the regeneration strategy in Ayrshire, providing a learning and skills hub for students and staff at the heart of Kilmarnock.

The new Ayrshire College and construction of the Kilmarnock campus marks a key phase in our development, and also an exciting time to join our successful team.

Following review of our information pack, if you feel that your knowledge, skills and experience are suited to this role and you are enthusiastic, with drive and ambition, and have the commitment to support our goals, then we would be pleased to receive your application.

Thank you for taking the time to consider a career with Kilmarnock College.
